Biography

Jack Coutu, a printmaker, watercolourist & sculptor, Coutu studied at the Royal College of Art and also the Central School of Art, 1951-55, where Merlyn Evans was a notable influence. He taught printmaking at the Royal Academy and elsewhere in the UK; had a two-man show with Michael Rothenstein at Alecto Gallery in 1965; and a solo show at Graphic Arts Gallery in 1968. The Arts Council and Victoria & Albert Museum hold his work.
